Horus’ career started out as staff producer for Hot Tracks, Moby Dick, Megatone, and ERC Records, with such hits as Loverde‘s “Die Hard Lover” & “My World Is Empty Without You”, Technique‘s “Can We Try Again / Tonight’s the Night”, Lushé‘s “Promise Me” & “You Can Win My Love”, and his own CD “Can U Handle It?”
One of the first remixers/reproducers in the industry, Horus remixed Margaret Reynolds‘ “Keep On Holding On” (Moby Dick Records), Technique‘s entire album (ERC Polygram), Norma Lewis‘ “Life Is the Reason” (ERC Records), and Jimmy James’ “Reach Out and Take Me” (ERC Records).
Horus started his own label Barny Records which put out recording artists Lusché, Gene Flores, and Horus Jack Tolson.
Horus has sung on or produced commercials for Wells Fargo Bank, Chevy Camaro, and more. Horus has sung background vocals for Norma Lewis, Sylvester, Tyne Mouton, Gene Flores, and others.

Horus is also founder of The Horus School of Music and Horus International School for the Performing Arts, and has three musicals under his belt. Horus has taught at UC Berkeley and USF.
Horus has been seen performing at Lincoln Center in New York, San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and Virago Theater. He has also worked as an actor and extra in the Marin Shakespeare Festival and numerous movies and commercials.
